I met with a great couple, Andrew and Alexandra in Carcassonne, wishing to sell their villa, the property needed a refresh. They trusted me after our first meeting, they gave me brief for a 'masculine, but with a feel for nature theme'. Though selling the property, they still required the villa to reflect their own personality. With this in mind, working with my furniture designers and home décor companies I presented a design brief which they were enthused by and loved. Over two days I repainted and added feature wall coverings to enhance the look, choosing a 'concrete' effect backdrop and adding bold shelving and art objects to set the scene. This successful working couple decided to change their furniture in both their living and dining area, with this mind I introduced some masculine, darker colours and hard wearing pieces to achieve the look. Working with the Dutch furniture designer De eek Horn, I selected pieces that would last the 'test of time' and offer functionally and style. I understood the brief given by Alexandra and Andrew and truly believe that I created a space that not only worked for them in the short term, but resulted in the sale of their property within under 2 weeks!
